Do you have knowledge about the mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems in wind turbines as well as safety considerations when working with wind turbines? Are you passionate about sharing this knowledge with others? Then you might be the right fit for this exciting position.
Now is the opportunity to apply your skills in one of the exciting companies within the Maersk Group. As the new Wind Instructor, you will contribute to the growth of the wind industry by delivering high-quality training to our course participants from companies in the wind sector.
Your tasks:
Your primary task will be to host a high-quality training experience, both in traditional classroom settings and through virtual instruction.
Additionally:
- Develop and optimize both the standardized Global Wind Organization (GWO) technical courses and custom technical courses for clients
- Prepare and conduct courses at various customer facilities/sites, online, remotely, or at Maersk Training’s own training centers
- Prepare training rooms, equipment, tools, materials, and risk assessments in relation to hosting courses
You have a relevant education and experience, such as an electrician, technician, or technical instructor in the wind industry. It is preferable if you have experience in wind turbine production, installation/assembly, or servicing. Knowledge of pedagogical and modern learning principles would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
Maersk Training will provide training for a selection of courses. You should be ready to travel, as customers expect courses to be conducted flexibly and locally, while ensuring a better learning experience for the participants. Experience with the following or similar courses would be advantageous:
- GWO Basic Technical Training
- Installation
- Wind turbine-specific technical and installation modules
- Electrical safety
- LOTO
