Your position
As Head of Marketing and Communications at Semco Maritime, you are passionate about driving business growth, leading as being an active player and have the skills to strengthen our marketing strategy and sales. You will have the opportunity to set the agenda and join the journey of digital development and a growing team. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President for People, Brand & Sustainability.
The position will be an influential and very independent role where you will be driving and shaping our future marketing strategy. You will be part of an informal and positive environment where we believe that teamwork is the key to success and consider employee well-being as a top priority.
Your task & responsibilities
As a head of Marketing and Communications your focus is to create and develop the way forward for marketing, where you as a leader drive our marketing strategy based on our overall Sustainable Strategy 2027 while acting as a hands-on Head of Marketing and Communications.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day management and development of the marketing team consisting of 3 colleagues.
- Overall responsible for department tasks, which include brand communication, website, so-me, marketing automation, exhibitions and other marketing assets.
- Increase awareness through focus on strategic marketing, including ensuring execution in collaboration with external partners and cross-functional teams.
- Optimization and digitization of lead generation in collaboration with the organization.
Your profile and qualifications:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and readily to take the lead and share your strategy with the Executive Board. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our products and services. Your leadership style is characterized by involvement and dialogue, because your in-depth experience has taught you that people achieve the best results when they are heard and feel ownership.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in marketing strategy and digital marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong business knowledge and ability to align marketing initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Previous experience in a project or industrial company or a marketing agency with an international setup is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey messages and ideas.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and achieving targets.
